Project Information: 

The project is being delivered through Clark County Public Works with cooperation through U. S. Federal Highway Administration, the Nevada Department of Transportation, Bullhead City, U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Department of the Interior, Bureau of Reclamation, U.S. Department of the Interior, Fish and Wildlife Service, Arizona Game and Fish Department, Nevada Division of State Lands, Arizona State Land Department, Nevada Division of Environmental Protection, and Arizona Department of Environmental Quality. Construction oversight for the project is provided by WSP, 4LEAF Consulting, Aztech Materials Testing, Newfields Environmental, Ninyo & Moore, and VTN.

On November 8, 2021, Clark County Public Works issued the Notice to Proceed to Fisher Sand and Gravel for the construction of the Laughlin-Bullhead City Bridge Project. This project will construct a bridge over the Colorado River between Laughlin, Nevada, and Bullhead City, Arizona, with an Approach Road constructed to provide vehicular access to the bridge from Needles Highway in Nevada and Bullhead Parkway in Arizona.

The bridge is 724’ long and approximately 35’ above the water. The bridge structure is precast concrete girders on drilled shaft foundations. The bridge will be constructed to carry four lanes of traffic and a multi-use path. The bridge will be striped for an interim condition carrying two lanes of traffic and a multi-use path.
