Clark County Fire Department Launches Nationwide Recruitment Effort

     The Clark County Fire Department is proud to announce a nationwide recruitment effort looking for qualified firefighter and paramedic candidates. The largest fire department in Nevada is hoping to fill 200 positions to keep up with the growing needs of Clark County.

     Those who are interested can learn more about the hiring process, the qualifications to be a firefighter and can fill out an interest card at www.joinccfd.org. All qualified applicants will be placed on a hiring list that will be used to fill four firefighter academies throughout 2024 and 2025. Each academy will have approximately 40-60 recruits. Paramedics will be given hiring preference, but all applicants will be encouraged to work toward their Basic or Advanced EMT certifications as they await an interview opportunity.
