Spaying and neutering is mandatory in Clark County. To help our neighbors come into compliance, Heaven Can Wait Sanctuary (HCWS) in partnership with unincorporated Clark County, will offer free spay-neuter of cats and dogs for residents of unincorporated Clark County who meet the following criteria:
  • Must be a resident of unincorporated Clark County
  • Must have photo ID and a recent utility bill verifying residency
  • Must have an active and current TANF or NV Medicaid or SNAP card or Social Services Medical Card or NV Check up card.
  • HCW will provide 800 cat sterilization and 1200 dog sterilizations.
  • Spay-neuter by appointment only 655-4800.

Some age, breed, or surgical conditions may restrict service or result in charges to the owner

If you have any questions on clinic policies or procedures call HCWS at 227-5555 or visit their website at www.hcws.org

RESIDENTS WILL BE REQUIRED TO PAY FOR VACCINES

(Exceptions may be made based upon need)

  • $10 for cats which includes the rabies and 3-1 vaccines
  • $20 for dogs which includes the rabies and 5-1 vaccines

Heaven Can Wait Sanctuary operates a low cost high volume spay-neuter clinic. The clinic has licensed veterinarians performing the spay or neuter surgeries.  The facility is safe, clean and the highest standard of care can be found at this clinic.

Remember, spaying or neutering your animal reduces the number of homeless and unwanted dogs and cats born every year. Be a responsible pet owner and spay or neuter your pet.

Spay or neuter means your cat or dog is “fixed” so they cannot make puppies or kittens.

These services have been made possible through the DMV Spay and Neuter License Plate Fund.  Please use the link below to access more information about this important public service.
