Parcel Map Activity List  

The Parcel Map Activity List is a listing of Assessor Parcel Maps that have been updated.   The list is appended to as daily updates occur.   Because the list is cumulative the possibility of duplicate maps is a certainty.   For this reason the “date of last update” has been added to assist the user in finding the most recent update to a particular map.   

The Parcel Map Activity List is available as an ascii text file only.   To download this file you will need to follow the FTP instructions given below.   Shown here is a sample of the data contained in the file.   The map name is listed first.

The Parcel Map filename appears first, followed by the date that map was updated. Map filenames use a standard naming convention:   "map" = base map, "cd" = condominium detail maps, "cl" = condominium detail lists, "twp", "sec" = rural maps that encompass a large area (sometimes a whole section or township).   The numbers indicate the leading digits of the parcel numbers within that map.   Trailing characters (such as "A1") are used to keep detail maps unique.

FTP instructions

In order to get this document, you can use your Web Browser, or use an FTP client such as CuteFTP Pro at www.cuteftp.com WS_FTP Pro at www.ipswitch.com or Core FTP LE at www.coreftp.com. This is a secure server, so you cannot use the FTP command included in Windows.

If using one of the ftp client software packages use these instructions:

Host Server Name:  Secureftp.co.clark.nv.us
User_ID: Anonymous
Password: your email address (ex. guesswho@test.com)

Once logged in you will see a folder named "Pickup".  Click on the "Pickup" folder and you will see a document called Assessor_Map_Activity.txt.  This is the document that contains the map updates.

You can either open it to view it or you can download it as an ascii file to a location on your hard drive for viewing.

If using the Web Browers:
