Field Descriptions as Per Record Layout

The Clark County Residential File contains features of residential structures on a parcel. This information is used to aid the Assessor's Office in performing their statutory requirements.

R-PARCEL NUMBER : The parcel number is used to identify each property to be assessed in Clark County. The Parcel Data Division of the Assessor’s Office assigns these parcel numbers. In February 2000, the Assessor’s Office completed  the conversion of all the parcels in Clark County to an eleven (11) digit parcel number. The old, nine digit parcel number may be needed when researching historical information.

R-KEY-SUFFIX: A sequence number to uniquely identify multiple appraisal records on a parcel.

R-BASE-COST-YEAR: The valuation year (Format YYYY where YYYY is YEAR).

R-APPRAISAL-DATE: Last date property was appraised (Format YYYYMM where YYYY is YEAR and MM is Month).

R-YEAR-BUILT: Year built (Format YYYY).

R-EFFEC-YEAR-BUILT: Normally same as R-YEAR-BUILT unless additions are present (Format YYYY).

R-BEDROOMS: Total number of bedrooms.

R-FAMILY-DEN: 0 = None; If > 0 then shows the number of dens/family rooms.

R-FORMAL-DINING-ROOM: Y=Yes/N=No.

R-BATHROOMS-FULL: Number of full bathrooms, this includes 3/4 bathrooms.

R-BATHROOMS-HALF: Number of half bathrooms.

R-PLUMBING-FIXTURES: Number of plumbing fixtures.

R-BUILT-INS: Y=Yes/N=No.

R-BI-MICROWAVE-OVEN: Y=Yes/N=No.

R-INTERCOM: Y=Yes/N=No.

R-TRASH-COMPACTOR: Y=Yes/N=No.

R-BI-REFRIGERATOR: Y=Yes/N=No.

R-VACUUM-CLEANER-SYS: Y=Yes/N=No.

R-BASIC-RES-COST: Basic residence cost.

R-SALESINFO: The Assessor’s Office updates the sales information from the recorded Value Declaration forms in the County Recorder’s Office. A parcel number must first be established for each Value Declaration form. The Assessor’s Office will then establish the sales type by reading the documents or sending sales verification letters out. The sales information is NOT updated at the same time the new owners names, address and document number are changed; it happens two to three weeks later, or maybe not at all because of lack of information. The sales date may NOT always match the document date.

R-90S-DATE: Recorded date of last sale (Format CCYYMM).

R-LAST-UPDATE-DATE: Last date of update for this parcel.
