Visitation
ALL VISITATIONS WILL BE CLOSED ON SATURDAY, MAY 19 DUE TO SYSTEM MAINTENANCE.
All visitors must register in person at the Clark County Detention Center.
Required for Registration:
- Valid Photo ID
- Email Address
After Registration, visitors will schedule all visits on one of our kiosks or via the internet.

Registration hours are 8:00 A.M – 11:00 P.M. seven days a week.
NEW visiting hours are as follows:

Professional Monday-Friday:

- 12:30 P.M.-4:00 P.M.

The end time of each session is the time that all visits are to be completed.
Public and Professional Saturday and Sunday:
- 8:00 A.M.-10:30 A.M.
- 1:00 P.M.-3:30 P.M.

Visit Guidelines
Please note that the start of visiting hours can be delayed due to unforeseen circumstances.
- Each Visitor over 13 years of age shall produce proper identification
- Visitors will be checked randomly for Warrants
- Inmates will be allowed visiting privileges based on their housing assignment and behavior
- Visiting shall be restricted only by space limitations, personnel availability, classification, and disciplinary actions
- All visitors are screened before entering The Clark County Detention Center.
- Visitors are subject to search
- No visitation during meal times, lock down times and inmate count
- All phone conversations are subject to being monitored excluding attorney-client privileges
- Visitor under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult
- Minors may not be left in the lobby area unattended
- Visitors may be asked to leave the facility in an event of an emergency
- Visitors not acting appropriately or not following the facility rules will be escorted off the premises
- Smoking, eating, or drinking is not permitted in Visitation area
- Visits may be denied for above reasons, but not limited to the reasons listed
Inmate Sexual Assault and Staff Sexual Misconduct
No sexual activity of any type is permitted between inmates and staff, visitors, contractors, volunteers and vendors. All reports of sexual assault and sexual misconduct will be investigated. This includes, but is not limited to, the following action:
- Sexual advances, sexually offensive language, comments, gestures or sexual harassment
- Influencing, promising, or threatening anyone’s safety, custody status, privacy, housing privileges, work or program status, in exchange for personal gain or favor of a sexual nature
Inmates who commit acts of sexual assault or misconduct are subject to discipline in accordance with the Nevada Revised Statutes and the Conduct Adjustment Board.
Any inmate who is threatened with sexual assault or is party or witness to sexual assault or any other sexual misconduct shall immediately report the threat or incident in any of the following methods:
- To any staff member (verbally or in writing)
- To any medical or psych services personnel (verbally or in writing)
- To any Officer, Sergeant, Lieutenant, or Captain (verbally or in writing)
- To the Deputy Chief of Detention Services Division (verbally or in writing)
Inmates who are found to have falsely reported sexual misconduct are subject to disciplinary action.
Medical Treatment and Mental Health Counseling and follow-up services will be available to any inmate who is the victim of any type of sexual assault.
Detention Center Visiting Dress Code
- Shirt and shoes must be worn at all times
- Shirts and blouses must be able to be tucked in No “spaghetti straps,” tank tops, tube tops, or sleeveless shirts
- No short-shorts or mini skirts Underwear must be completely concealed
- No profane, sexually explicit, or derogatory language on clothing
- No hats, ball caps, skull caps, or “du-rags”
Appropriateness of dress will be at staff discretion
Visitors failing to comply to dress code will be denied entry into the Clark County Detention Center.
