A Marriage License allows a couple to marry in the state but it is not proof of marriage. If you need proof of marriage, contact the Clark County Recorder's Office. You can order a certified copy of your marriage certificate online from their website.

The fee is $1 for a plain copy or $7 for a certified copy. In your written request, provide the bride and groom's name along with the year the license was obtained. If you are not sure of the year, enclose $1 for each year to be searched. Also enclose a self-addressed stamped envelope so we may mail your copy to you.
