Quick Look-up
Las Vegas Constable
Car, Cash Drawer or Property Lien Levy
If we execute a vehicle, the vehicle will be held for 10 court (working) days to give the defendant a chance to either pay the judgment in full or set a court date with the court. If the defendant does not pay the judgment in full within the 10 court days, the vehicle will be set for auction. You may attend the auction and bid on the vehicle.
If we execute a seizure on a cash drawer, the monies collected will be held for 10 court (working) days to give the defendant (if desired) a chance to set a court date with the court. If there is no court date set, the funds are sent to the plaintiff.
All Executions/Garnishments expire after 120 days. If your judgment is not satisfied within the 120 days, you may refile your Execution/Garnishment in Justice Court.
When we post a Property Lien, you will be notified by mail once the service is complete. At that time you must pick up a certified copy of your Judgment Lien in Justice Court (where you originally filed) and have it recorded at the Clark County Recorder's Office:
