Desert Conservation Program

The Clark County Desert Conservation Program manages Endangered Species Act compliance for non-Federal activities on behalf of Clark County and the cities of Boulder City, Henderson, Las Vegas, North Las Vegas, Mesquite, and the Nevada Department of Transportation.  Read more. 

In coordination with the Multiple Species Habitat Conservation Plan (MSHCP) Permittees and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, the Clark County Desert Conservation Program (DCP) has prepared their Draft Implementation Plan and Budget for the 2015-2017 biennium. The DCP is currently seeking public comment on the draft plan. Comments may be submitted by email to dcp@ClarkCountyNV.gov or by mail to: Desert Conservation Program, 500 S. Grand Central Parkway, Las Vegas, Nevada 89155. Comments must be received by 5:00 p.m. PST on October 1, 2014.
