In 2007, Family Services began a review of the department's child welfare operational policies and practices in order to develop a best-practice implementation through redesign.
The goal of the policy & procedure re-design is improve agency efficiency and delivery of quality services to the client population served through a clear and strategic framework focused on safety, permanency, and well being outcomes for children and families.
