At the Board of County Commission meeting on August 16, 2011, *U.S. Communities Government Purchasing Alliance presented the Clark County Purchasing & Contracts Division with the U.S. Communities Customer Award of Excellence for Clark County’s participation and dedicated support of the effective and efficient government purchasing principles set forth by NIGP (National Institute of Government Purchasing) and NACo (National Association of Counties). Yolanda Jones, Purchasing Manager, accepted the award and expressed her gratitude to the Purchasing staff for making it happen.
