Purchasing & Contracts: : Delivery Instructions

SUBMISSION OF BIDS, PROPOSALS (for RFPs) and RESPONSES (for RFIs & SOQs)

All Bids, Proposals and Responses must be submitted in a sealed envelope(s)/package(s) plainly marked with the name and address of Bidder/Proposer/Respondent and the Bid/RFP/RFI number and title. No responsibility will attach to COUNTY, or any official or employee thereof, for the pre-opening of, post opening of, or the failure to open a bid/proposal/response not properly addressed and identified. Bids, Proposals and Responses are time-stamped upon receipt. Bids, Proposals and Responses time-stamped after the due date and time (as defined in each Bid/RFP/RFI), based on the time clock at the Clark County Purchasing and Contracts front desk will be recorded as late, remain unopened and be formally rejected. FAXED BIDS, PROPOSALS AND RESPONSES ARE NOT ALLOWED AND WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.

Regardless of the method used for delivery, Bidder/Proposer/Respondent shall be wholly responsible for the timely delivery of its bid/proposal/response. Overnight Mail must use the EXPRESS DELIVERY instructions.  

Any Bids, Proposals or Responses submitted via a third party courier must be sealed in a separate envelope from courier’s packaging to allow for proper recording of receipt.   

Bidders, Proposers, Respondents and other interested parties are invited to attend the bid opening.
