Program for youth transitioning out of foster care to self sufficiency.
Clark County Social Service has been chosen by the Department of Family Service to administer the state funded FAFFY program, Step-Up, which supports youths in transitioning from foster care to being self-sufficient. This assistance encompasses everything from obtaining a high school diploma to substance abuse education to living assistance such as housing, food, clothing, transportation and medical care.
If you are a youth who exited the foster care system at 18, you are eligible for Step-Up funding.
