Commissioner Hosting Homeownership Seminar on Feb. 18th
Commissioner Lawrence Weekly will host a homeownership seminar from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Feb. 18, at the West Las Vegas Library.
The event, called “Helping Your Dream Become a Reality,” will feature guest speakers and representatives from various organizations that work with people trying to buy a home.
“Homeownership is still the American dream,” Commissioner Weekly said. “This event will bring potential homeowners together with the agencies and people who can help them make that dream a reality.”
The professionals expected at the event include staff from Consumer Credit Counseling Services, realtors and bankers. These experts will have information booths and be available to answer questions and schedule follow-up appointments.
The event is free to attend, and people are encouraged to arrive early to make sure they have time to speak with everyone who may be able to help them.
