REQUEST FOR AN INDIVIDUAL TO SERVE AS A VOLUNTARY MEMBER ON THE AIR POLLUTION CONTROL HEARING BOARD

 

The Clark County Board of County Commissioners (BCC) is seeking three members to serve three-year terms on the Air Pollution Control (APC) Hearing Board beginning October 7, 2017 (2 positions) and November 16, 2017 (1 position). The APC Hearing Board is a seven-member board appointed by the BCC that is responsible for hearing appeals of air quality permitting and enforcement actions and acting on applications for exemptions and variances of regulatory requirements. Applicants must be residents of Nevada and may not be employees of the State of Nevada or any other political subdivision of the state. This is a voluntary appointment with no compensation. The APC Hearing Board generally meets four to six times a year.
