For Building Department Paper Plan Permits and Revisions

Projects that were submitted and are currently in a "Ready to Issue" or "Ready to Pick Up" status, customers may request access to pay online and receive permit online using the Citizen Access Portal by emailing eplanissuance@clarkcountynv.gov. PLEASE INCLUDE THE PERMIT NUMBER or REVISION NUMBER IN THE SUBJECT LINE. Once we receive your email, you will be contacted by our issuance staff with next steps and any additional actions required. When payment is made, an email will be sent to the applicant with the permit attached. Plans will be scanned in our office and available for download using Citizen Access. Job cards may be printed from your home office using the Job Cards Customer Report feature on our home page.

For Fire Prevention Paper Plan Permits and Revisions

Projects that were submitted and are currently in a "Ready to Issue" or "Ready to Pick Up" status, customers may request access to pay online and receive permit online using the Citizen Access Portal by emailing fireintake@clarkcountynv.gov. Once we receive your email, you will be contacted by our issuance staff with next steps and any additional actions required. When payment is made, an email will be sent to the applicant with the permit attached (Not applicable to Operational permits). Plans will be scanned in our office and available for download using Citizen Access.

Building Paper Plan Corrections Submitted Electronically

Customer to email corrections to buildingcorrections@clarkcountynv.gov

  • Permit number and revision number, if applicable, and plans examiners name need to be referenced in the subject line.
  • Only one correction submittal via email per permit #.
  • Corrections plans/documents/calculations need to be separated per discipline (ex: architectural, mechanical, structural etc.) and be in one PDF file, per discipline.
  • Correction submittals need to be 100% complete and must address ALL items listed on the correction letter, per discipline.
  • The correction plan submittal size shall match the sheet size of the original plans submitted not to exceed 24 x 36.  They also need to be to scale.
  • Different sized correction plans/documents need to be their own .pdf file (i.e., 24x36 plan drawings separate from 8.5x11 Structural Calculations, etc.).

Correction shall be:

  • Emailed as PDF attachments that do not exceed 25mb (total).
  • If the corrections exceed 25mb, state this in an email sent to buildingcorrections@clarkcountynv.gov and they will send alternative directions.

  • Uploaded documents need to be separated files by type (ex: plan, calculation, application, cut sheets etc)
  • Correction submittals need to be complete (including Application if emailed) and address All Items listed on the correction letter.
  • The correction plan size submitted not to exceed 24 x 36.  They also need to be to scale.
  • Correction can be sent in two forms:
    • Emailed as an attachment with PDF documents that do not exceed 25mb.
    • If the corrections exceed 25mb, state this in an email sent to firecorrections@clarkcountynv.gov and they will send alternative directions.
  • Any resubmittal fees for corrections will be assessed and paid after the review is performed.

Requesting Building Permit Renewals

To request a renewal on an expired Building permit, submit a completed permit application form for the type of expired permit that was originally issued to expiredpermits@clarkcountynv.gov. The scope of work on the application form must read "Renewal of Expired Permit", and the subject line of the email should contain the expired permit number. All contractors or owner/builders must have a Clark County Citizen Access Account.
