Independent Contractor Drivers may apply online

All Independent Contractor Drivers driving in unincorporated Clark County for a Network Transportation Company OR a delivery service must apply to the Clark County Business License Department for a Clark County driver business license.

Prior to applying for a Clark County driver business license, all drivers must register with the Secretary of State. Clark County Business License will accept drivers registered with the Secretary of State as Limited Liability Companies for licensing as long as the individual driver(s) are listed as a member of the Limited Liability Company. The Clark County driver business license, however, will be issued in the name of the individual driver, not in the name of the Limited Liability Company.

Clark County Business License will issue up to three individual business licenses to drivers who are members of the same Limited Liability Company.  Clark County Driver business licenses will not be issued to employees of Limited Liability Companies.

Fee Information:  New application will include a non-refundable application fee of $45.00, in addition to the regular $25.00 license fee.  The $25.00 license fee is renewable annually.
