Clark County is a wonderful place to do business. The County has approximately 41,720 licensed businesses. Our low cost of living, proximity to major markets, great climate, recreational opportunities and educational system make us ideal. Our Business License Department is responsible for licensing and regulating businesses in the unincorporated part of the County, and it can help you navigate through the requirements of various County departments. For instance, some license categories require inspections and/or investigations from the County’s Building Division, Fire Department, Comprehensive Planning Department and from these separate entities: the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department and the Southern Nevada Health District. Whatever the requirements, we want to help make your experience a positive one.
