As the Commissioner of Civil Marriages, the County Clerk is responsible for performing civil marriage ceremonies. Civil wedding ceremonies are held in The Office of Civil Marriages.
In addition, Las Vegas has dozens of lovely commercial wedding chapels, hotels, and resorts from which to choose.
Some private wedding chapels have names similar to the Office of Civil Marriages. To avoid confusion, note that this office is located at 330 S. 3rd Street, 6th Floor, Suite 660.
Monday - Thursday: 2:00pm-6:00pm, walk-ins only
Friday: 9:30am-8:45pm, by appointment only
Saturday: 12:30pm-8:45pm, by appointment only
Sunday: 9:00am-5:00pm (closed 11:30 a.m.-Noon for lunch), walk-ins only

Please arrive 5 minutes before your appointed time. Marriage ceremonies are scheduled in 15 minute blocks. If you miss your appointment time, you will need to reschedule. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, click the "Modify this appointment" link provided in the confirmation email once you set up your initial appointment.
Maximum occupancy of the room is 18 persons - this includes the couple, witness, and the Deputy Commissioner.
Nevada law requires that a witness be present during the wedding ceremony. The Office of Civil Marriages is not able to provide a witness. Unsavory individuals sometimes approach couples and offer to witness their ceremony for a fee. We
strongly encourage couples to bring their own witness to avoid having a person unknown to them witness their wedding ceremony.

Walking directions to The Office of Civil Marriages from the Marriage License Bureau:
left when you exit the Marriage License Bureau and walk down the stairs or handicap ramp. Proceed North (left) on South 3rd Street and cross Lewis Avenue. 330 South 3rd Street is directly on the corner of Lewis Avenue and South 3rd Street. The entrance to the building faces South 3rd Street.

The solicitors outside of the Marriage License Bureau work for commercial wedding chapels. They are not employed by nor affiliated with The Office of Civil Marriages, the Marriage License Bureau, or the Clark County Clerk's Office.
For your peace of mind, insist on a bill with all fees and recommended tips
before you take your vows.
All chapels are required by law to file your marriage certificate with the Office of the County Clerk within 10 days after your ceremony.
