Keep Clark County Clean Resource Guide
- How and Where to Dispose of Common Household Waste -

  • Republic Services offers two different trash and recycling schedules while the company is in the process of implementing a new All-In-One recycling program.

    Original Pickup & Recycling Program

If you are part of the original program, your service is twice per week for trash removal and every other week for curbside recycling using three 12 gallon milk crates.  Bulk Waste such as furniture, mattresses (wrapped in plastic), appliances, yard waste, and similar items can be put out on any of your trash pickup days.

    All-In-One Program

In the new program, Republic Services delivers two plastic carts to customers – one for trash and one for recycling.  The carts are available in capacities of 35, 65 and 95 gallons.  The company decides which size is appropriate for each community but after the carts are delivered you may request a different size from Republic and the cart will be exchanged for the size you requested.   You also may request either an additional trash or recycling cart from Republic and the cart will be provided at no additional charge.  Trash and recycling are picked up on one day per week on the same service day.  In this program Bulky Waste such as furniture, mattresses (wrapped in plastic), yard waste, and similar items that don't fit in a cart are picked up every other week on the same day as trash and recycling service.
