Republic Services delivers two plastic carts to customers – one for trash and one for recycling. The carts are available in capacities of 35, 65 and 95 gallons. The company decides which size is appropriate for each community but after the carts are delivered you may request a different size from Republic and the cart will be exchanged for the size you requested. You also may request either an additional trash cart from Republic and the cart will be provided at no additional charge. A total of three carts are provided per household without being subject to rental fees. Trash and recycling are picked up on one day per week on the same service day. In this program Bulky Waste such as furniture, mattresses (wrapped in plastic), yard waste, and similar items that don't fit in a cart are picked up every other week on the same day as trash and recycling service.
