Aviation

Clerk's Office
The department performs a number of functions, including; operating as an independent record-keeper and ex-officio member of boards such as the Board of County Commissioners, Clark County Board of Equalization, Clark County Liquor and Gaming Licensing Board, University Medical Center of Southern Nevada Board of Trustees, and others; and accepting fictitious firm name registrations, passport applications, and notary bonds, including administering the oath of notary publics. Coroner-Medical Examiner's Office
The office investigates all deaths by violence, criminal means, suicide, or any unattended death, regardless of cause. Juvenile Justice Services
The department’s role and mission is to hold juvenile offenders accountable for their behavior, while simultaneously assisting those offenders and their families by providing meaningful treatment, services, and programs. Parks and Recreation

Public Defender's Office

Public Guardian
The office, by state statute, is required to take care of individuals when no family members or friends are able, willing, or appropriate to serve on behalf of the proposed protected person that cannot function in his or her daily environment such as making proper health care or financial decisions, or performing basic self-care tasks such as feeding and bathing. The office also oversees the voluntary sixty-and-over Representative Payeeship Program, which assists individuals in managing their monthly income, while maintaining their independence. Public Works
The department delivers a wide range of services to the community that primarily involve the design, construction, inspection, and maintenance of essential infrastructure such as roadways, bridges, traffic control devices, flood control facilities, and trails for public use. Other services include the review, permitting and inspection of off-site development and utility work, vector control to abate pests in public right-of-way, and Call Before You Dig to locate County facilities. In addition, the department manages newsracks along Las Vegas Boulevard and other County sidewalks as well as special event permits for activities that impact public roads and sidewalks such as films and marathons. Real Property Management

Recorder's Office
The Recorder’s Office is a public record office, serving the cities of Las Vegas, North Las Vegas, Henderson, Boulder City, Laughlin, Mesquite, and all of unincorporated Clark County. The office provides for recording and retrieval of records for public viewing, produces copies and certification of records, as well as micro-film duplicates of records. Examples of typical recorded documents are: deeds, leases, notices of completion, trust deeds, notice of default/breach, reconveyances, uniform commercial code financing statements, subdivision maps, parcel maps, surveys, land divisions; unpatented mining claim records, including notices, certifications of location, mining maps, and proofs of labor; military discharge papers, declarations of homestead, mechanics' liens, Federal tax liens, and real property transfer tax. Select for measures and additional information...

Social Service
The department provides a variety of services for needy residents of Clark County who are not assisted by other state, federal or local programs. Social Service is responsible for ensuring that the County meets it health, welfare and community responsibilities as set forth in the Nevada Revised Statues and County Ordinances.  Services are primarily targeted for at risk county residents and the primary mandates are to provide financial (housing related), medical assistance, cremation/burial and transportation out of county. The District is the largest wastewater agency in the State of Nevada, serving more than 249,000 business and residential accounts.
