Mission Statement

Improve the lives of families by engaging and empowering parents in providing continuous support for their children.

To accomplish this mission, we locate parents, establish paternity, establish and enforce child support and arrearage orders. The State of Nevada collects and disburses payments.

For general questions about D.A. Family Support and/or child support, please see the links under the “Explore” section on the right side of this page. If you do not find answers to your questions here, call (702) 671-9200 Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM and follow the prompts. A call center representative will be happy to assist you. For information about your case, you may use our automated system that is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week by calling (702) 671-9200.

If you are calling regarding a child support case where the non-custodial parent lives out of state, your case may be an “Interstate Case”. You will need to contact the State of Nevada’s Child Support Interstate Office in order to address your questions, as it is that office that exclusively services Interstate cases. To do so, please send an email to NEVADAINITIATING@dwss.nv.gov or call (702) 486-1095 with your questions and a customer service representative will get back to you.
