Adoptions: About Us
Clark County Department of Family Services (DFS) is committed to finding permanent families for children by promoting fairness for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) foster and adoptive parents through the All Children All Families Initiative from the Human Rights Campaign.
Currently, DFS is working on meeting 10 benchmarks in order to achieve the Gold Seal of Recognition from the Human Rights Campaign. The benchmarks cover agency non-discrimination policies, training of staff on LBGT issues, recruitment materials and finalized adoptions to name a few.
