Summer Camp Calendar (PDF)

Through the Open Schools Open Doors agreement Clark County Park & Recreations Safekey Program is a before and after school recreational based program offered to students in grades K-5. The program includes recreational activities, and time is set aside each day for homework assistance. Safekey also provides a snack for participants! On occasion homework time will not be available in lieu of special programming. While Safekey is not part of the Clark County School District we both share a common goal, to provide a safe environment for students while at school. Safekey sites are listed below.

Safekey 2013 Summer Camp Program Information

  • Program Dates: June 10 - August 16, Mon.- Fri., 7 am–6 pm
  • Cost: $15 per day (Use as needed), $70 per week (NOTE: The $70 rate is a discounted fee for participants attending Monday-Friday, therefore, no refunds or credits will be given for single program days missed).
  • Ages: 6 - 12 (May be age 5 if completed kindergarten)

Program Information:

  • Walk in registration for the 2012/13 school year is available to the general public. Registration applications are available at all Safekey sites and Clark County Parks & Recreation Centers. Call (702) 455-8251 to find a convenient location near you to pick up an application.
  • All students must pre-register at individual school sites before participating in the Safekey program.
  • Parents who wish to pay online for Safekey may contact the Safekey office at (702) 455-8251 to have an account set up.
  • Students must attend the Safekey site where he/she attends school.
  • Regular attendance is on a pre-pay basis and drop-in participants pay per day.
  • Hours are generally 7-8:30 a.m. and directly after school dismissal until 6 p.m. For your records, this is the Safekey tax ID # 88-6000028
