Construction Mgmt

The Construction Management Division of Public Works administers County roadway and traffic infrastructure, trails and flood control contracts; performs construction inspection of Public Works projects and conducts quality assurance tasks/field construction testing. The Division coordinates pre-construction conferences with contractors and utilities; prepares contractor pay estimates and project acceptance recommendation for completion notice filing.

The Construction Management Inspection unit is also responsible for overseeing the construction of developer off-site improvements to ensure that the County's infrastructure is built to County Code and adheres to approved plans and contract documents.

Construction Materials & Lab
Quality control and assurance documents and links that are relevant for material production, laboratory and field testing, and construction installation within the public right-of-way in the Clark County, Nevada region.

Encroachment Permitting 
Per Clark County Code, an encroachment permit shall be issued for the purposes of minor construction, modification or maintenance of existing improvements, the installation of new utility facilities, or any other minor encroachment approved by the Director of Public Works.

Off-Site Project Inspections
Inspection of developer off-site projects which may include but are not limited to: streets, street barricades, streetlights, sidewalks, gutters, sewers, box culverts, storm drains, and utility poles in the County right-of-way.
