The Traffic Management Division of Public Works plans, designs, constructs, operates, and maintains the County's traffic control infrastructure. The Engineering Unit conducts traffic surveys, studies and evaluations and designs countywide traffic control improvements
The Traffic Operations Unit is responsible for the maintenance and operation of the County's traffic control signs, streetlight, signals and pavement markings.
Clark County Public Works maintains the traffic control devices of more than 530 signalized intersections that are integrated in the Regional Transportation Commission's Freeway and Arterial System of Transportation (FAST) network. RTC FAST is responsible for monitoring and controlling traffic in southern Nevada.
