Special Public Defender: Family Defense
The family defense division of the Special Public Defender’s Office provides legal representation to parents who are at risk of having their parental rights terminated. We provide comprehensive, compassionate representation by qualified and ethical attorneys who are highly motivated in reuniting families. In addition, we have extremely qualified social workers who assist the attorneys in representing parents who are at risk of losing their children and use their skills in finding referrals to appropriate social services to achieve our goal of safely reuniting families under the supervision of the court.
