Unofficial Results on Election Night
After the polls close at 7:00 p.m. on
Election Day, polling place officials bring the results to central tabulation at the
Election Center for processing. The Election Day results are tabulated along with
early voting and
mail ballot results. In state/federal elections, tabulation starts AFTER the Secretary of State indicates all statewide voting has ended. In federal/state elections,
provisional ballots are not included in the unofficial election night results. In municipal elections, provisional ballots are not used.
Sometime after 7:00 p.m. on election night after tabulation begins, you may access unofficial election night results on the
Election Department's website.
Past election results are also available.
Clark County also posts election night results as they are tabulated on Clark County Television (CCTV) cable
Official Final Election Results
The County Commissioners (or appropriate city authority in municipal elections) must complete the “canvass” of the election results on or before the sixth working day after
Election Day (NRS 293.387). In state/federal elections, the final results will include
provisional ballots that were counted.
