Clark County Wetlands Park

Self-Guided School Field Trips

Field Trips for 2017-2018 are fully booked!

Registration for 2018-2019 Guided Field Trips begins August 8.

To meet teacher demand for student field trips, the Park offers Self-Guided Field Trips, Dragonfly Tours, for CCSD private and home school groups in any grade on Wednesdays and Fridays from October 1 through April 30

The Park provides teachers with a 3-hour training class, along with educational and onsite resources to help plan their field trips. All teachers are required to take Dragonfly Training (1 CCSD CU) in order to schedule and lead their class field trip.

On the day of the field trip, a Wetlands Park Staffer presents a 15-minute Park introduction. Groups have access to the Nature Center, including the Exhibit Hall, Picnic Cafe, and Auditorium, and can follow a marked self-guided tour route in the Nature Preserve. Both the Dragonfly Training Class and Tours are free of charge and available to teachers on a first-come basis.

How to Register
