Spooktacular Stories & Crafts

The fun lasts all day! Come to the Wetlands Park Nature Center between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm to attend a story​and craft at the top of each hour and explore a StoryWalk in the daytime maze. Free, all ages, walk in.

Experience the spooky side of Wetlands Park in a holiday themed event for kids of all ages. Explore the Haunted Maze and Spooky Walk with Creatures of the Night. Costumes welcome! Adults are requested not to wear full face masks.

International Migratory Bird Day

International Migratory Bird Day, coordinated by Environment for the Americas, celebrates and brings attention to one of the most important and spectacular events in the Americas - bird migration. IMBD is celebrated in Canada, the United States, Mexico, Central and South America, and the Caribbean at protected areas, refuges, parks, museums, schools, zoos, and more. More than 600 events and programs hosted annually introduce the public to migratory birds and ways to conserve them. ​​

BioBlitz is a fun day of science in the park! Participants will identify plants, mammals, birds & birds with the help of scientists and naturalists. All observations are entered into a global database, iNaturalist, to help track biodiversity.
