Wetlands Explorer Day

Come to the Exhibit Hall for self-guided activity books to help learn about and explore some of the best places for kids at Wetlands Park. Complete all the activities for a prize, while supplies last.
World Migratory Bird Day

Wetlands Park provides an important resting place for migratory birds. Learn about birds and enjoy crafts, games, and activities.
World Migratory Bird Day, coordinated by Environment for the Americas, celebrates and brings attention to one of the most important and spectacular events in the Americas - bird migration. More than 600 events and programs hosted annually throughout the United States, Mexico, Central America, and South America introduce the public to migratory birds and ways to conserve them.

8 am to 1 pm
BioBlitz is a fun day of science in the park!
8 am - 12 pm: You are the naturalist, making observations with the help of guest scientists. Identify plants, mammals, birds, insects, and reptiles. All observations are entered into a global database, iNaturalist, to help track biodiversity. View the iNaturalist Wetlands Park Nature Journal.
12 pm - 1 pm: Join us for a Data Viewing Party. Who saw the most variety of life in the park?
Tuesday, April 16 through Friday, April 19, come to Wetlands Park for self-guided BioBlitz activities all week.

Discover the many opportunities available for summer fun in the Las Vegas Valley. Explore booths from local agencies and businesses for things to do all summer long. Play games throughout the Nature Center and enjoy the cool air conditioning of the Exhibit Hall.
