Nature at the Wetlands Park

Water is what allows the flora and fauna to thrive at the Clark County Wetlands Park. From spiny soft shell turtles to American coots, beaver, coyotes and otherworldly-looking dragonflies, it is the water that makes this micro-climate so different from the surrounding desert.

The park is home to 212 species of birds. More than 70 species of mammals and reptiles have been spotted.
