Charlie Frias Park is a 32 acre park located at Tropicana Avenue and Decatur Boulevard. The park is a joint cooperative project between Clark County and the Regional Flood Control District. Frias Park, has wonderful views of Red Rock Canyon and the Spring Mountains to the West and Sunrise Mountain to the East. The area's natural bluffs and rolling hills have been incorporated into the design and the park includes a separate neighborhood park component along with a large multi-purpose turf area that can be used for a variety of activities including soccer. The neighborhood park may be accessed from the north of the parcel and includes a dog park feature as part of the park. Charlie Frias Park is named after Las Vegas businessman and philanthropist Charlie Frias. The park opened on October 8, 2012.
