Saturday, April 20th, 2019, the Clark County Children's Festival will return to Winchester Cultural Center & Park, 3130 S. McLeod Drive. The park will be transformed into a lively play land for children. Founded in 1993, the Children's Festival has continued as an annual spring event for 27 years. An event that provides families with an opportunity to come together and enjoy a fun-filled family day, children delight in the magic of this unique celebration of creativity and community spirit.
The 2019 Children's Festival will run from 10 am - 3 pm and the theme is “Children in Nature”. Admission is free, and the many free activities will celebrate all things natural and nature-oriented, such as Get Outdoors Nevada and the Greenwood Revelers with the famous Tree-Men. The activities will also include ongoing dance and music performances, arts and crafts, our on-going tile painting mosaic workshops, a full harmonica workshop, and face painters. Vendors with small fees include historic battles and food/drink vendors.
