The final government surplus auction of the year will be Saturday, Nov. 17, at 8 a.m. at a storage lot located at 4320 Stephanie St., off Flamingo Road near Dog Fancier’s Park.
The auctions feature items used or acquired by government agencies ranging from cars and trucks to office equipment and lost and found merchandise. A three-day preview and preregistration period opens in advance of each sale. Anyone who wants to bid at the auction is urged to preregister as a bidder at a registration office set up on site at the storage lot. Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on preview days.
TNT Auction, the contractor that manages the sales, posts a complete listing of items that will be sold at the action on its website at www.tntauction.com. The postings get updated regularly as the date of the auction approaches and participants submit more items for sale.
In addition to Clark County, frequent participants in the sales include all the local cities, the state of Nevada, UNLV, McCarran International Airport, Las Vegas Convention Center, Clark County School District, Las Vegas Valley Water District, Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, St. George, and Washington County, Utah.
