Actress to Celebrate 'Old Yeller' 60th Year

       Winchester Cultural Center will celebrate the 60th anniversary of the film, "Old Yeller" with actress, Beverly Washburn discussing her experience and the making of the movie at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 20 at the center's theatre, 3130 S. McLeod Drive, just north of Desert Inn Road. The event is free and those interested can call Winchester Cultural Center or go in person to sign up.   

       Beverly Washburn has an illustrious acting career which includes classic movie roles in "Old Yeller," "Shane," Spider Baby," "The Maddest Story Ever Told," and "Here Comes the Groom". She also made appearances on the original "Superman and the Mole People" as well as the original TV series, "Star Trek" in the episode "The Deadly Years".
