Dirty water goes down the drain, but what happens next?
The answer to that mystery is on display for the community to see at the Clean Water Fest, hosted by the Green Alliance and the Clark County Water Reclamation District.
Clean Water Fest marks the one day of the year that the Flamingo Water Resource Center, the State's largest wastewater treatment facility, is open for tours.
The Clean Water Fest will be Saturday, November 3, 2018 from 8am to 3pm at the Flamingo Water Resource Center, 5857 E. Flamingo Road.
Additionally, water resource agencies and community partners that help with the design and construction of clean water projects will be on hand, answering questions and providing valuable information about conservation and the importance of providing clean water to our community. There will be displays and demonstrations. The event is fun for all ages, including activities for the kids and a Touch-A-Truck section.
Media tours are available upon request, in advance of the Clean Water Fest, and live shots are available and encouraged the day of the event.
