Clark County Commissioner Tick Segerblom will host a Town Hall meeting at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 12, at the Hollywood Recreation Center, 1650 S. Hollywood Blvd. The meeting is open to all residents of District E and will be held in the Sunrise Manor Town Advisory Board Meeting Room.
"I enjoy hosting town hall meetings at different recreation center locations within District E so I have the opportunity to meet with as many residents as possible and hear their concerns and ideas," said Commissioner Segerblom. "Some topics are specific to particular neighborhoods while others apply to our entire community. Everyone is welcome to attend."
A representative from Clark County's Public Response Office will attend the town hall to provide an overview how code enforcement issues and complaints are handled in the County, and how people can report potential violations. A U.S. Census Bureau representative will be invited to offer information and answer questions about the 2020 Census. March 12 is the first day people can participate in the census, and this is the first year people can fill out the census questionnaire online or by phone. Commissioner Segerblom also will provide an update on a large repaving effort under way on Charleston Boulevard between Nellis Boulevard and Whitewind Lane, just east of Hollywood Boulevard.
Residents are invited to call Commissioner Segerblom's office at (702) 455-3503 for more information about the meeting. District E residents also can sign up to receive a free email newsletter via the County's website at www.ClarkCountyNV.gov.
