Formed in the Dnipropetrovsk region of Ukraine in 1949, RADOST, which translates to "joy", has been performing for audiences all over the world for 70 years, representing not only the Ukrainian culture, but even that of their fellow Slavic neighbors.

The ensemble is a winner of multiple Oblast, Republican, All-Union, and then All-Ukrainian awards, as well as International competitions and festivals. RADOST has ranked among the best art collectives of Dnipropetrovsk region and has represented its home region at the big concerts of the All-Ukrainian Public Arts Reviews held at the main stage of the country - the Palace "Ukraina" in Kiev.
