The intersection of Hollywood Boulevard and Sahara Avenue will be closed from 7 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, to 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 8, due to construction that will ultimately replace the roundabout with a new traffic signal there.
Traffic will not be allowed through the intersection during these days.
When re-opened to traffic at 4 p.m. on Sunday, the intersection will be a four-way stop with one lane for traffic in each direction.
Additional traffic restrictions may occur during the following three months as crews work to install a new traffic signal there. The project is expected to be complete in December.
Tand Inc. is the contractor for this project.
