Join Fawn Douglas, local Paiute artist, and others as they take you on a trip through native history and culture through the performing arts at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 29 at the Winchester Cultural Center, 3130 S. McLeod Drive, just north of Desert Inn Road. Tickets for the event are $12 in advance, $14 day of the event and can be purchased at the front desk or online at www.ClarkCountyNV.gov/parksregistration.
From dancers in the Pow Wow circle to orchestra and other performing arts, our native community has talent! Spectators will view the beauty of our rich culture while learning about the performances and stories behind them. This is a family friendly educational event.
Respect is given to our Southern Paiute elders in attendance. Indigenous elders have VIP seating in the front row, admittance free.
