Lockout Station to Groove Winchester Stage

The guitar-based jazz trio Lockout Station will perform its blend of flamenco, jazz fusion and avant-garde jazz influences at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10 at Winchester Cultural Center, 3130 S. McLeod Drive, just north of Desert Inn Road. Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 day of the show and can be purchased at the Winchester front desk or online at

Dirk K., guitar; Dave Ostrem, bass; and Andrea d'Angelo, drums, interpret Dirk's compositions, which combines its influences with harmonies and difficult grooves. The compositions also use winding melodies to evoke impressions of strange other-worldliness. Dirk, from Aachem, Germany; Ostrem from New York, and d'Angelo from Italy met in Las Vegas to form this powerful band.
