Opening a business in Clark County? Attend an informational meeting Tuesday, Oct. 22, 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Clark County Government Center, 500 S. Grand Central Parkway, in the Gold Room on the 4th Floor, to learn about requirements and policies for operating a business and the services and resources that may be available.
The event, presented by County Commissioner Michael Naft, will feature presentations by the Clark County departments of Business License, Building and Fire Prevention, and Comprehensive Planning as well as the Southern Nevada Health District and the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.
"Small businesses are critical for our economic success," Naft said, "and it is important that we support them. I hope this meeting will help entrepreneurs to better understand how to navigate local government requirements and learn what services and resources are available to them."
