The 215 from Decatur Boulevard to the I-15 will be reduced to one lane in each direction during the late night and early morning hours on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, Jan. 21-23, due to an ongoing widening project there.
The lane reductions will begin around 9 p.m. each night, with the highway down to one lane in each direction by 11 p.m. nightly. The lane restrictions will be removed by 5 a.m. daily and so should not affect rush-hour or daytime traffic.
In addition, the westbound 215 off ramp to Decatur will be closed from 1 to 5 a.m. on Thursday.
The lane closures are needed so crews can install new lane markings along the highway.
Meanwhile, a widening project north of this area is expected to cause significant traffic delays this weekend. Southbound 215 traffic will be reduced to one lane between Summerlin Parkway and Flamingo Road for most of Saturday, Jan. 18. Then on Sunday, Jan. 19, northbound 215 traffic will be limited to one lane between Durango Drive and Charleston. Drivers should also expect single lane closures along parts of the 215 in this area on Saturday, Sunday and Monday, as well as temporary 215 off-ramp closures Saturday morning.
