Safety Precautions in Effect for Clark County Commission Meeting Tuesday

The Clark County Commission will meet on Tuesday, April 7 at 10 a.m. with a limited agenda focusing on essential County business, no ceremonial items and new health and safety practices in effect due to the coronavirus.

Pursuant to the Governor's Emergency Directive on Public Meetings and in accordance with social distancing recommendations and other safety precautions, physical attendance of the meeting will be strictly limited to essential County officials and staff and the news media.

Anyone wishing to comment on an item marked "For Possible Action" appearing on this agenda should send an e-mail to comment@ClarkCountyNV.gov and identify which agenda item they wish to comment on.  Any comments not so identified will be read at the end of the meeting up to 3 minutes each. The full content of the email will be submitted to the Clerk's Office as part of the public record. The full meeting agenda is available at https://www.clarkcountynv.gov/public-communications/Pages/agendas.aspx.

The Commission agenda contains 63 items considered routine and are listed as part of the consent agenda, which is voted upon in one motion. The agenda also contains one public hearing item, the introduction of an ordinance and two business items. No ceremonial items have been scheduled. Among the business items is one that would make it easier to temporarily rehire retired firefighters if the Clark County Fire Department faces staffing shortages due to the coronavirus.
