Vocalist and pianist Marlane Coker performs with the Las Vegas Hot Cole Orchestra at 7 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 13 at Winchester Cultural Center, 3130 S. McLeod Drive, just north of Desert Inn Road. Coker and the Las Vegas Hot Cole Orchestra will perform arrangements by Ed Mudrak & Kevin Stout. Coker has grown in the background of the Los Angeles jazz music scene by introducing her stylized interpretations of American standards. The Hot Cole Orchestra specializes in arrangements by Richie Cole from his four horn big band book.
