Dear Residents,

Fall weather has finally arrived and we are starting to cool down. For many of us this means spending more time outside, enjoying the early morning and evenings in our backyards. It also means the children will be playing in the neighborhood more, and so I want to remind everyone to be especially careful on our roadways.

There have been a lot of exciting developments in District B recently. Since June, more than 130 new businesses have opened in District B, and I encourage everyone to help support these new entrepreneurs when you see them. Also, I would like to welcome new Tule Springs Fossil Beds National Monument Superintendent Jon Burpee and his family to our community. We look forward to working with him to showcase this amazing natural treasure located in District B. I suggest you follow the Tule Springs Fossil Beds National Monument on Facebook, and check out the page for information on upcoming events there. Thank you again to those of you who lead the way to ensure Nevada protected this area. Hopefully, it will become another great tourist attraction in Southern Nevada.

It has been great to meet so many of you at recent community meetings and events. Thank you all for your continued support and for sharing your concerns and thoughts with me.

Below are a few of the events coming soon in District B. I hope you have the opportunity to go to some of them.

If you have any questions or concerns you think I might be able to help with, please email me. If you’d rather call, you can usually reach me at my office at (702) 455-3504 or on my cell phone at (702) 767-1315.

Thank you,
