Local residents are invited to a series of neighborhood meetings to provide input as Clark County formulates a Local Recovery Plan that seeks to achieve lasting, measurable community improvements.

  • Tuesday, July 27, 9 to 10 a.m. with Commissioner Justin Jones and Nevada State Sen. Marilyn Dondero Loop at the Desert Breeze Community Center at 8275 Spring Mountain Rd. in Las Vegas.
  • Thursday, July 29, 10 to 11 a.m. with Commissioner Justin Jones at the Sandy Valley Community Center at 650 W Quartz Ave. in Sandy Valley. Staff from Congresswoman Susie Lee’s office will be in attendance.

Residents are asked to provide input on the impacts of the pandemic and barriers to recovery and on how to spend federal funds as part of a plan to target underserved populations and those disproportionately affected by the pandemic. Residents who are unable to attend can provide input by taking this survey. Officials are seeking feedback on questions such as:

  • How did the pandemic affect your family, neighbors, neighborhood and/or business?
  • What types of assistance would have been helpful to overcome these challenges?
  • Are there forms of assistance that will reduce the burdens of the pandemic?
  • Are there other forms of assistance that will solve the root causes of these challenges?
