A "Liquor Caterer License" permits the operation of a business which provides temporary retail liquor service at an off-site location after obtaining proper liquor caterer permits as set forth in Section 8.20.240 of this chapter.
Liquor Caterer Permits. It is unlawful for any licensed liquor caterer to dispense, serve, or sell any alcoholic liquor without first obtaining a permit from the director or their designee. The application for such permit shall be submitted to the department of business license on forms provided by the director at least ten calendar days in advance and shall be approved prior to the event/activity.
Applicants seeking a Liquor Caterer Permit for a special event must already hold a valid and current license for a Liquor Caterer business with Clark County Business License Department. All liquor caterer permits are subject to provisions and prohibitions as outlined in 8.20.240 - Liquor caterer permits. | Code of Ordinances | Clark County, NV | Municode Library.
If the Event Organizer is not using a liquor caterer for the alcohol to be served at the event, then an approved Liquor Licensee must pull an Off-Premise Liquor Permit.
