which you wish to receive a mail/absentee ballot.
 

DUE DATES AND TIMEFRAMES FOR THE "FEDERAL POST CARD APPLICATION" (FPCA)

OCTOBER 30, 2018 DUE DATE: Military and overseas residents must submit an FPCA for the November 6, 2018 State/Federal General Election no later October 30, 2018 (postmark date) to register to vote or update existing registration, and to request a mail/absentee ballot. 

Timeframe of When to Expect Your Mail/Absentee Ballot

Delivery of mail ballots begins 45 days before Election Day for all voters. If you request a mail/absentee ballot and do not receive it at least 10 days before Election Day, IMMEDIATELY contact the Clark County Election Department. Do not delay as short timeframes will make it difficult for you to receive, vote and return a mail/absentee ballot by 7:00 p.m. on Election Day.

Voted Mail/Absentee Ballot Due Date and Time
The Election Department must RECEIVE your voted mail/absentee ballot no later than 7:00 p.m. on Election Day, in order for your ballot to be counted. Submission options include postal mail, fax, email or personal delivery, details of which will be included in the mail/absentee ballot packet we send you.

Use the FPCA

To register to vote and/or request a mail/absentee ballot, military personnel and their dependents (spouse or children over 18) temporarily living outside of the state of Nevada, and Clark County residents temporarily living overseas, should submit a “Registration and Absentee Ballot Request - Federal Post Card Application” (FPCA) instead of the standard Registration Application and/or Mail Ballot Request Card.
