Les Lee ShellLes Lee Shell was appointed Deputy County Manager on July 5, 2017 by the Clark County Board of Commissioners.  Prior to her appointment, she served as the Director of the Office of Risk Management from February 2014.  As Deputy County Manager, Shell is responsible for the oversight of Risk Management, Purchasing, Elections, Information Technology and Administrative Services (including Government Affairs, policy & analytical services, town & liaison services, code enforcement, animal control, park police and Laughlin town services). Shell has more than 24 years of government experience in human resources, employee benefits, collective bargaining, lobbying and management. Prior to joining Clark County in 2001, Shell was the Chief Deputy for the Montana Secretary of State. 

Shell has a bachelor's degree in political science from Carroll College in Helena, Montana, and a master's degree in Public Administration from Montana State University.
